Product Description

Common use
Revatio is a drug used to treat pulmonary hypertension (increased pressure in the pulmonary artery, pulmonary vein, or pulmonary capillaries, collectively known as the pulmonary vasculature) to improve exercise capacity. The drug relaxes the blood vessels, which are able to let in more blood and oxygen, reducing pulmonary blood pressure.
The drug's active ingredient is sildenafil, the same as in Viagra. Therefore, Revatio can be used to treat erectile dysfunction.
Sildenafil affects the response to sexual stimulation. With the help of nitric oxide, it increases the relaxation of smooth muscles.

Dosage and method of administration
Take one 20 mg Revatio tablet three times a day with or without food.
Each dose should be divided into 4-6 hours.
It is advisable to take Generic Revatio regularly, at regular intervals.

Before taking Revatio, tell your doctor if you have a history of the following conditions: irregular heartbeat or chest pain (angina pectoris), sickle cell anemia, porphyria or blood cell or bone marrow cancer, heart attack, stroke, blood vessel disease, peptic ulcer or stomach bleeding, circulation problems, high or low blood pressure, retinitis pigmentosa, liver or kidney disease, penile deformity.
Pulmonary vasodilators, like Revatio, can significantly worsen cardiovascular health in patients with pulmonary veno-occlusive disease.

Generic Revatio is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age, patients taking any drugs containing organic nitrates, and patients with hypersensitivity to the drug and its components.

Possible side effects
Revatio is generally well tolerated, but side effects in the form of hyperemia, headache, shortness of breath, insomnia, fever, muscle pain, nasal infection, nosebleed, sinus infection, and stomach upset are possible. If you notice any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Drug Interactions
Revacio should not be taken together with drugs containing sildenafil (Viagra, Kamagra), antifungal drugs, organic nitrates such as ketoconazole and itraconazole, Ritonavir (HIV medication).
Tell your doctor about all medications and herbal medicines you are taking, especially alpha blockers such as doxazosin, bosentan, carbamazepine, rifampin, phenytoin, barbiturates, rifabutin, vitamin K antagonists, as Revatio doses may need to be adjusted.

Missed Dose
Do not try to make up a missed dose of Revatio by taking two doses at once.
If you notice you missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If the next pill is close to your appointment, take only one dose of the medicine and go back to your regular schedule.

Symptoms of overdose are similar to those seen with smaller doses, but the frequency and severity of manifestations increase.
